In solidarity with non-violent people's struggles, AID supports grassroots organizations in India and initiates efforts in various interconnected spheres such as education, livelihoods, natural resources, health, women's empowerment and social justice.

AID Bay Area supports small and marginal farmers in India in a variety of ways. Our partners in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana ensure that tenant farmers get access to bank credit removing them from clutches of private moneylenders. They ensure continued education and livelihoods for families of farmers who have ended their lives and engage in advocacy with the government to ensure fair policies for the farmers in India.
