AID Bay Area supports various projects in the area of agriculture, which range from supporting organic agriculture training to creating farmers' cooperatives to preventing agricultural related distress. Organic Agriculture Training, West Bengal

An organic agriculture training program focusing on climate change adaptation techniques and improving nutrition status of communities
Impact: In over 6 years of operation, 4000 farmers have been trained in sustainable farming techniques that has resulted in improved income for farmers

Tribal Cooperative Society, Andhra Pradesh ​

Partner: Rural Development Service Society
An initiative to create a cooperative that empowers tribal farmers get their fair trade prices in Andhra Pradesh
Impact: First all tribal co-operative that has 40 members from 7 panchayats and sold 4000kg of kidney beans in its first year of operation

Supports tenant farmers and families cope with farmer suicides resulting from the continuing agrarian crisis in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh
Impact: Farmer suicides getting better tracked and Loan Eligibility Cards have been issued to >10, 000 tenant farmers
