Dr. Balaji Sampath is a founder of Eureka Child Foundation. An IIT-Madras alum, Balaji received his PhD from University of Maryland but chose to return to India to work full time on social issues. He has played a key role in AID-India's large scale primary education program, the Eureka Child initiative, which improves reading, math and science skills of over one million children in Tamil Nadu.
Kiran Vissa is a long time social activist who works on issues related to the agrarian crisis and sustainable organic agriculture in India. An IIT-Madras alum, he received his master's degree from the University of Maryland. Leaving a lucrative US career, he returned to India to address the epidemic of farmer suicides in his native Andhra Pradesh. In his work, he has relentlessly focused on social, economic and policy level changes to  empower the Indian farmer.
